- BIOGRAPHY
- SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Whilst completing her internship at the CDC, the adaptability and flexibility the teachers and therapists demonstrated in order to address children’s learning needs inspired and motivated Katy so much that she decided to join the CDC after graduating. She is particularly moved by the ceaseless efforts the CDC makes to empower caregivers by teaching them positive ways to support their children at home beyond centre-based sessions.
Understanding that individuals have their own way and pace to learn, Katy is resolved to see the world from the children's perspectives and to stand in their shoes; therefore, she is eager to design individualised play-based activities to engage children to learn.
