Giraffes (Pre-school & Early Intervention Programme)

This is an intense therapeutic group running three mornings per week, with the option to enroll for a 2 or 3 morning schedule. It is designed to address all aspects of your child's development.

The group provides a bridge between the adult-dependent toddler age and formal learning settings. It focuses on exploration, playing by oneself and with others, and learning to function independently in a more structured setting.

Your child will be assessed to formulate an individual teaching and therapeutic programme and subsequently reassessed in six-month intervals.*

He/She is expected to attend with a parent and/or caregiver until staff members are confident that your child has sufficiently settled and can attend independently.

The Giraffes Programme focuses on:

  • Physical, personal, social and emotional development
  • Communication and language
  • Self-regulation
  • Shapes, space and measures
  • Understanding the world
  • Art and design
  • Pre-academic learning (incl. attention span, listening, early literacy &numeracy)

*Our curriculum is guided by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) of the U.K., the Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide (KECG, Education Bureau) of Hong Kong, and the AEPS-3 of the U.S.
