Mini Munchers Feeding Programme
About the Programme
What are Mini Munchers?
Mini Munchers is a specialised feeding therapy programme based on the Sequential Oral Sensory (S.O.S.) approach — a proven method designed to support children with eating challenges in a fun, non-threatening, and playful way.
Does Your Child Struggle with Eating?
This programme may be right for your child if they are:
A picky eater
Avoiding entire food groups (e.g., no vegetables or proteins)
Eating a narrow food range
Having trouble gaining weight
Showing challenging behaviours during mealtime
Gagging and vomiting regularly when eating
How it Works
The Sequential Oral Sensory (S.O.S) approach to feeding is a transdisciplinary, evidence-based method that helps children learn to eat by addressing the whole child—including their sensory, motor, oral, behavioural, medical, and nutritional needs. Using the S.O.S strategy, the therapist slowly introduces the “just-right” amount of oral and sensory challenges to help children, in particular,
Expand their food repertoire
Build confidence around new textures and tastes
Improve mealtime behaviour and enjoyment
