APPLIED BEHAVIOUR ANALYSIS (ABA)

Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) is a systematic teaching approach that involves breaking skills down into small and easy-to-learn steps. The use of ABA techniques and principles can bring about meaningful and positive changes in behaviour. This Programme is an individualised combination of home and centre-based therapy. Our ABA programme adopts a multidisciplinary approach. Our ABA therapists will call on the expertise of our centre’s speech therapists, occupational therapists, psychologists and teachers in order to create and implement a comprehensive ABA programme. The programme is fun and based within the context of naturally-occurring activities such as during play and in classroom settings. Our ABA programme is structured as follows:

  • An individualised programme based on your child’s needs will address all domains of development and include targets for each area.

Priority given to children who are already enrolled in group programmes or individual therapies at CDC.
